Georgetown, April 17, 2018. Ambassador of Cuba Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro made a courtesy call to the Hon. George Norton, Minister of Social Cohesion, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
During the meeting both officials exchanged ideas on the development of bilateral relations, and agreed on the importance of promoting the Framework Agreement on Sports Cooperation between the Government of Cuba and CARICOM.
The Ambassador delivered the invitation that was sent to the Minister by DrC. Antonio E. Becali Garrido, President of the Cuban Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Recreation (INDER), to participate in the scientific event CUBAMOTRICIDAD 2018, to be held in Havana, from October 22 to 26, 2018.
