Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance receives Ambassador of Cuba.

Accra, May 9, 2023 - Cuba and Ghana established diplomatic relations in December 1959 and since then have strengthened ties in different sectors. That is why the Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance, Hon. Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, received this morning H.E. Mrs. Anette Chao Garcia, Cuban Ambassador to Ghana.

During the meeting, in which the Cuban official updated the Minister on the news about Cuba and the effects imposed by the commercial, economic and financial blockade on the island, they exchanged on different aspects in order to promote collaboration in different sectors. As well, the two parties agreed to continue working together to raise the level of relations between the two countries.
