Minister of State for Scholarships receives Ambassador of Cuba.

The Minister of State for the Government Scholarships in the Office of the President and the Cabinet, Dr. Christopher Mushohwe, received the Cuban Ambassador Carmelina Ramírez in his office in Harare today. During the meeting, the Zimbabwean Minister assessed positively the good relations of cooperation that exist between his country and Cuba, and reiterated the will to continue expanding these links. He also acknowledged the contribution of Cuba in the training of thousands of Zimbabwean professionals, as well as the work that Cuban doctors and professors are currently carrying out in Zimbabwe. Cuba awards medical scholarships annually to Zimbabwe as part of an intergovernmental agreement that has existed for several years.
