Namibia, December 6th, 2018- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Namibia, Sidenio Acosta Aday, presented the Letters of Style of his Credentials to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relation and Cooperation, H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
The Cuban Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Minister for giving him the opportunity to present her the Letters of Style, so soon after his arrival. He also thanked Namibia for solidarity with Cuba, especially in the fight against the US Blockade.
For her part, minister Netumbo officially welcomed the Cuban diplomat to the country and invited him to feel like he was in his homeland. She highlighted the relations of brotherhood that unite Namibia and Cuba. In addition, she expressed the will of her country to continue supporting the Island in the battle for the lifting of the genocidal policy of the United States.
At the end of the simple ceremony, both diplomats exchanged about the excellent state of bilateral relations and expressed their intentions to work hard for its strengthening.
