New health professionals arrived in Trinidad and Tobago

Port of Spain, April 23, 2024. This afternoon, new health professionals arrived in the city of Port of Spain. They were received by the designated ambassador in the country, Gustavo Veliz; the head of the Medical Brigade in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Orlando Díaz, the commercial counselor of the Cuban Embassy, Julio Cabada and directors of the country's Ministry of Public Health.

The new health professionals make a total of 23 who will join the work carried out by the Cuban Medical Brigade in this sister nation in different areas of the country.

Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago began their bilateral relations in 1972, historical relations that have been strengthened over time and have fostered ties of cooperation.
