New official takes over the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Cuba in Namibia.

Namibia, October 29th, 2021- With the presence of Sidenio Acosta, Ambassador of Cuba to Namibia, and other officials of the Diplomatic Mission, the change at the Economic and Commercial Office was made official, when Councillor Juan Carlos Oliva Núñez handed over his positon to Councillor Yamila Martínez Abreu.

During the simple ceremony, Ambassador Acosta recognized the work done by the outgoing counsellor, Oliva Núñez, who contributed to the strengthening of the historic relations between Cuba and Namibia. In the same way, he exhorted the new counsellor Yamila Martínez Abreu to continue and improve the work carried out by her predecessor.

In this way, Juan Carlos Oliva Núñez culminates his stay in Namibia for more than 5 years.
