PRAGUE, July 22, 2024 - Our Consular Office will implement the new online visa application system starting July 22, 2024. This platform facilitates and expedites the tourist visa application process for all interested parties. The new system is available at https://evisacuba.cu/en/inicio , where applicants can complete the application process quickly and efficiently. Once the application is submitted, the processing time will be 3 business days. This reduced timeframe will allow for greater flexibility in travel planning from the comfort of an internet-connected device.
Visas will be issued in the form of an alphanumeric code, which will be sent to the email address provided by the applicant. This code will be activated by accessing the Dviajeros platform (https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/inicio), which must be accessed no later than 3 days before departure. Once the Dviajeros form is completed, a QR code containing the visa and the information from the form will be sent to the applicant's email. The cost of the visa will remain unchanged, ensuring that there are no increases in travel expenses due to the implementation of the new system.
Requirements for Application To apply for the visa, interested parties must meet the following requirements:
- Valid passport with a minimum validity of six months.
- Completed online application form: https://evisacuba.cu/en/inicio
- Proof of visa payment.

Another change with the implementation of this new system is the elimination of the additional fee that was previously charged when the visa was applied for by a third party or via postal mail. This change represents an economic saving and simplification for applicants.
