Nigeria, January 1, 2023. The Movement in Nigeria in solidarity with Cuba salutes the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
On January 1, 1959, the Cuban Revolution triumphed and since then, and despite all the insidious machinations of Yankee imperialism, the Revolution lives and will continue to live!
On this 64th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, the Nigerian Solidarity Movement joins the African Movement to reaffirm our permanent solidarity with the Cuban people, with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and with the country. -The entire Committee for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) that is distributed throughout all the neighborhoods of Cuba!
Likewise, we salute the continuous heroic and unparalleled sacrifices of President Miguel Díaz-Canel and the Directorate of the Cuban Revolution and living historical leaders of the Revolution, such as Army General Raúl Castro, Commander Víctor Dreke 'Moya', etc. , to keep alive the flames of the Revolution.
Cuba is not alone and can never be alone! And the Revolution can never be defeated!
And in the spirit of our African ancestors, we ask that the enduring ideas of Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro continue to inspire the Revolution! When he expressed in March 2016: “After a ruthless blockade that has lasted more than 60 years, and what to say about those killed in the mercenary attacks on Cuban ships and ports, a plane full of passengers blown up in mid-flight, mercenary invasions, multiple acts of violence and coercion!. Let no one be under the illusion that the people of this dignified and self-sacrificing country will renounce the glory, rights, or spiritual wealth that they have gained through the development of education, science, and culture! We don't need the empire to give us anything. Our efforts will be legal and peaceful, since this is our commitment to peace and brotherhood among all human beings who inhabit this planet”.
- We will always be with the Cuban Revolution and the Socialism!
- The US empire should lift the blockade on Cuba now!
