The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Office of Design are launching the #NoMásBloqueo poster contest.
In all their various expressions, the posters should reflect the claim being made by Cuba and the international community for the end of the blockade which continues to be enforced by the United States and hurts the Cuban people.
Designers, artists and students from Cuba and other countries may apply.
The posters can be made by one individual or a group of up to 5 persons and more than one poster per participant may be submitted.
They must be unpublished works in their general and specific contents.
Works submitted should specify:
- #NoMásBloqueo poster contest
- Author’s full name or pseudonym
- Author’s contact information
The digital file should be submitted in a 50x70 cm format, JPEG or JPG, 300 dpi resolution; and the original in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.

Deadline for submissions is 31 August 2017.
The results will be released on Tuesday, 26 September 2017.
Three prizes will be awarded. The 15 best projects, including those of the three prize-winners, will be exhibited in Havana as well as in Washington and New York.
The jury will be made up by acknowledged designers and experts.
