Athens 13 March. A photographic exhibition illustrating the love and admiration of Cuba's National Hero, José Martí, towards Greece was opened to the public this morning at two Athens Metro stations. The exhibition is called "José Martí with Greece in the Heart", with photos of the counselor and consul of the Embassy of Cuba in Greece José Oriol Marrero Martinez and texts in Spanish and Greek, from the book of the Counselor, about what Martí has written about those places in Greece that is in the photos. From dawn, the Greek people transiting through the metro stations Syntagma (34 photos) and Acropolis (29 photos), is already appreciating the sample. This effort honours Greece's Independence Day, which is celebrated every 25 March, and also encloses the greeting and solidarity of the people of Cuba for Brother Greek People, in any circumstance. It is common to see exhibitions on the Athens Metro to be seen in the passage, however, the particularity of this is that it will be the first time that a sample is exhibited that reflects the love of the National Hero of Cuba to Grecia. The exhibition can be visited at any time, between 13 to 26 March, during the working hours of the subway, which operates normally and transports figures near one million passengers every day. The authorities of the Athens Metro, STASY A.E., the authorities of Athens, all the people who have collaborated, encouraged, and supported this project, are thanked for the purpose to become a reality, on the path of cultural exchange between the peoples of Cuba and Greece.
