With the presence of the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, the advent of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated in Basseterre.
Basseterre December 30, 2024- Joy, optimism and commitment to Cuba marked the celebration that took place this weekend at the Cuban Embassy in St Kitts and Nevis, where fellow nationals and local friends led by the Prime Minister of the Federation, Honorable Dr. Terrance Drew, celebrated the advent of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
As an initiative of the Cuban Alumni Association, this significant evening was held, which was also attended by members of friendship associations and Cuban residents in this Caribbean nation.
Ambassador David Rivero took the opportunity to thank each of those present for their support and solidarity with our country throughout the year that is about to end.
The 2024 has undoubtedly been a difficult year for our country, in a complex international crisis scenario, exacerbated by the invariable attempts at destabilization by the United States. Despite all this, Cuba continues to be an example for many nations of the world and contributing to the well-being of tens of friend peoples. This is always recognized and appreciated by the local authorities of this Federation. Such is the case of the Prime Minister himself and the Ambassador of St Kitts and Nevis in Cuba, Verna Mills, present there, both graduates of Cuban Universities and active members of the Association that brings them together.
