Monrovia, April 8, 2022 – In a meeting held with Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, the president of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group, Kesselee King Kanneh, today condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than 60 years, which he defined as the worst violation of Human Rights. He also ratified his rejection of this inhuman policy and denounced its extraterritorial character.
The supportive friend said that the Cuban people have the right to decide their future in a sovereign manner and to defend their political and social model.
He insisted on the fact that a conduct that causes serious economic and humanitarian effects, and deeply affects Cuba's development potential and living standards, cannot be accepted.
