Monrovia, December 4th 2020.- In a meeting held between the Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera and the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association Mr. Kesselee K. Kanneh, it was demonstrated that solidarity cannot be blocked.
The Cuban diplomat updated her friend of Cuba on the effects of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the different US administrations against Cuba, and its upsurge with more than 120 decreed measures, during this year of confrontation with the COVID-19 pandemic.
For his part, Mr. Kanneh sent us his sentiment of brotherhood and support to Cuba in its fight against the genocidal blockade of which it has been victims for almost 60 years, denounced acts of persecution and intimidation of an extraterritorial nature, and demanded its immediate cessation. He added that despite the blockade facing Cuba, this has not stopped them from spreading their solidarity around the world, and that when others only think themselves, the largest of the Antilles has set an example worldwide and has sent medical teams to many corners of the world to help fight this pandemic called # Covid-19.
This shows us once again that Cuba is not alone.
Embacuba Liberia.
