Monrovia, May 25, 2018-, The President of the Republic of Liberia. HE Mr. George M. Weah, today sent a heartfelt message of condolences to his Cuban counterpart, Mr. Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, on the occasion of the lamentable plane crash that has mourned the Cuban homeland.

In his letter, received by the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia, the Liberian leader said that "with shock and sadness we have received news of the death of at least one hundred and ten persons and injuries of three others as a result of the plane crash in Havana on Friday May 18, 2018 ". "
