NIGERIA, November 13, 2017. The president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayub Philippe Wabba, received Carlos Trejo Sosa, ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria.
The meeting, held today, took place in a friendly and respectful atmosphere, reflecting the existing relations between both countries, in this case in the trade union sector. The exchange allowed to verify the commitment of the affiliates of the NLC with the Cuban Revolution, as well as the admiration and attachment of its leadership to the ideological legacy of the Historical Leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
This union center was founded in 1978. It currently has 4 million members, a figure that lists it as the largest trade union center in Africa.
