Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves celebrates with Cuban collaborators the 61st anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

Kingstown, December 29. The Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, participated yesterday afternoon in a fraternal meeting with Cuban collaborators that served as a propitious moment to celebrate the advent of the year 2020 and the 61st Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

In his words, Prime Minister Gonsalves recounted the Cuban collaboration with his country, thanked Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and the General of the Army for their permanent solidarity with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and with all the Caribbean countries. He also reiterated the indestructible bonds of friendship between both peoples and governments and wished all present a year 2020 full of collective, personal and family successes.

The Cuban Ambassador to the island, José Manuel Leyva Ventura, thanked the President for his presence at the activity, highlighted the work carried out by Cuban health personnel and engineers in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during the year that is ending and reiterated the will to continue deepening the bonds of brotherhood and collaboration that exist between our two nations.

In their speeches, several Cuban collaborators reiterated the commitment to continue offering our help in solidarity to the brotherly people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and thanked them for the affection they receive every day.

Among the guests were present, Francisco Pérez Santana, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and other San Vincentian officials.
