Port of Spain, August 16, 2023. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, H.E. Ms. Tania Diego Olite held a meeting with Mr. Stephen de Gannes, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of that country, in which, among other topics, was addressed the holding in Cuba of the 39th edition of the International Fair of the Havana FIHAV 2023 from 6th to 11th November. Mr. De Gannes expressed his support for the promotion of this important event among the members of the Chamber, in order to contribute to the strengthening of economic and commercial relations and the identification of business opportunities for both countries.
The last FIHAV 2022, held in the context of post-pandemic recovery COVID 19, had the participation of more than 450 foreign companies from 62 countries and 207 Cuban companies, which ratifies its consolidation as one of the most significant platforms for development of business in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
