RECEIVES THE MINISTER OF TRADE, ENERGY AND EMPLOYMENT OF DOMINICA TO THE AMBASSADOR OF CUBA.
Roseau, Dominica, May 10, 2019. The Minister of Trade, Energy and Employment of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Ian Douglas, received today, May 10, 2019, in his office, the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Ulises Arranz Fernández. During the meeting topics of mutual interest linked to relations between both countries in the field of trade and preparation of the workforce in Dominica were discussed.
The Ambassador offered the Minister extensive information on the details of the 16th edition of EXPOCARIBE, which will take place from June 19 to 22, 2019 at the Heredia Cultural Complex in the city of Santiago de Cuba. During the event, the XII Business Forum of the Greater Caribbean will also take place, which is organized jointly with the General Secretariat of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).
The occasion was used by the Cuban Ambassador to reiterate to the Minister of Trade, Energy and Employment of Dominica the invitation made by the Minister of Foreign Trade of Cuba, Rodrigo Malmierca, to participate in the new edition of EXPOCARIBE.
The meeting between the Ambassador of Cuba and the Minister of Dominica took place in an atmosphere of friendship and fellowship, as the relations between both countries characterize.
