Wellington, August 24. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés presented today the topic "Cuba's Foreign Policy in a Challenging Global Environment" at a round table at the Center for Strategic Studies of the University of Victoria, one of New Zealand's leading foreign policy and security think tanks.

The director of the Center, David Capie, acted as moderator and the ambassador gave a presentation in which he addressed topics such as the Presidency of the

G77 + China, Latin American integration, Cuban cooperation in the world, relations with New Zealand, the blockade, and relations with the United States, among others.

He then answered numerous questions from academics, diplomats, officials, and students in attendance.
