Ambassador of Cuba was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Chancellor of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino was received, in audience, by the Vice Prime Minister and Chancellor of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sir Louis Straker, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Commerce of the sister Caribbean island.
In the framework of a lively and friendly conversation, the parties addressed aspects related to collaboration between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, both bilaterally and in international organizations.
The Foreign Minister expressed the categorical conviction of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the blockade imposed by the US. Cuba, remains the main obstacle to the development of the Greater Antilles, while reiterating the support of his country to the battle for the return to Cuban sovereignty of the territory, illegally occupied by the Guantanamo Naval Base.
