Saudi Fund for Development is ready to continue cooperating with Cuba

The Cuban Ambassador, Vladimir González Quesada, exchanges with the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad

Riyadh, November 3rd - The Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada, was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, who was accompanied by other executives of this important institution.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and his host reviewed the long-standing relationships between the fund and the different Cuban organizations and institutions, as well as the bilateral projects that are in execution, based on the different agreements signed.

In his capacity as new Ambassador to the Kingdom, Vladimir expressed his full readiness to support all efforts aimed at developing and consolidating ties between the SFD and its counterparts on the Island.

For his part, Al-Marshad assured that the fund is ready to continue cooperating with Cuba in the different projects of mutual interest, which benefit both parties.

The Saudi Fund for Development was founded by a Royal Decree issued in September 1974 and began operating on March 1st, 1975. Its main objectives are to participate in the financing of development projects for developing countries. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
