Seychelles Minister of Health receives Cuban Ambassador.

Victoria, October 25_. Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles Martha Hernandez Caneiro, was received Tuesday by the Minister of Health, Mrs. Peggy Vidot, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Seychelles.

During the cordial meeting, both parties discussed the current state of Cuban medical collaboration in the country, future perspectives, as well as other issues of common interest to both parties.

The Minister was accompanied by Dr. Danny Louange, Executive Director of the Health Care Agency and Dr. Susan Fock Tave, head of the Seychelles Health Professionals Council; Dr. Yoanny Berriel Muñoz, head of the Cuban Medical Brigade and Tomás Méndez Parra, Minister Counselor of the diplomatic mission, participated on the Cuban side.

Cuba and Seychelles established the medical collaboration in 1980 and it has been maintained for 42 years.

At present, the Cuban Medical Brigade in Seychelles is composed of 59 collaborators from 26 medical specialties.
