Athens, May 14. The Ambassador of Cuba in Greece Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina gave a lecture about the Cuban revolution, historical background and current situation, to students of various levels of Spanish at the headquarters of the Hellenic Cuban Friendship Association.
The Ambassador explained the history of the struggle of the Cuban people, the historic confrontation with the USA, the unfair economic, commercial and financial blockade of USA against Cuba, the building of socialism in Cuba, the updating of the Cuban economic and social model, the elections, the new Constitution, the intensification of the blockade with the current American Government and other topics of interest from the audience, which made also several questions at the end.
It was a great experience which reaffirmed the interest and solidarity from Greek friends with the Cuban revolution.
