South African Communist Party in solidarity with the Cuban people

Pretoria, October 24, 2024.- The South African Communist Party (SACP) has issued a strong statement of solidarity with Cuba, denouncing the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against our country for more than 62 years.

In the document, the Communist Party condemns the unilateral sanctions against the island, which are the main obstacle to its socio-economic development. It also reaffirms the organization's unwavering support for the Cuban government and people.

The statement calls on the United States to lift, once and for all, the criminal and unjust blockade against Cuba.
