Speaker of the Liberian House of Representatives receives Cuban Head of Mission.

Monrovia, April 5, 2023 - At the Capitol of Monrovia, the Speaker of the Liberian House of Representatives and third in command in the African country, Dr. Bhofal Chambers, received the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

The meeting took place in a fraternal and cordial atmosphere where both parties discussed matters of interest to the parliaments of both nations.

Speaker Bhofal Chamber thanked Cuba for the solidarity provided to the African continent and specifically to Liberia during the Ebola epidemic.

Both parties reiterated the willingness to continue working to strengthen bilateral relations and establish collaborative links for the benefit of both peoples.
