The Special Rapporteur of the United Nations on trafficking in persons will visit Cuba

The Special Rapporteur of the Organization of United Nations on the human rights of victims of trafficking in persons, especially women and children, Ms. Maria Grazia Giammarinaro, will make an official visit to Cuba , from 10 to 14 April, responding to an invitation from the Cuban Government.

During her stay , the UN representative  will have a broad progranm of meetings and other activities that will allow her to see the commitment of Cuba with  the fulfillment of its international obligations against trafficking in persons , on the basis of "Zero Tolerance" policy against this crime , with a focus on prevention , confrontation and protection to victims.
