St. Vincent and the Grenadines rejects the inclusion of Cuba on the list of terrorist countries.

Kingstown, January 14. Today we met with the nine Vincentian students who will soon be leaving for our country to begin their Bachelor's degree studies in Nursing and Medicine.

The Cuban Ambassador to the Caribbean island explained to the young people and their parents the characteristics of our education system and the profound solidarity work of our Revolution. He also commented on passages of our history, about Cuban heroes and highlighted the brotherhood that unites both peoples and governments.

The meeting was a propitious moment to unmask and reject in the most energetic terms the infamous and opportunistic inclusion by the government of the United States of Cuba in the list of terrorist countries.

The Vincentian government, through the Caricom and ALBA-TCP Declarations, has rejected this new maneuver by imperialism. In the same way, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Movement in Solidarity with Cuba condemned the inclusion of our country on that spurious and immoral list.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Vincentian Ministries of Health and Education.
