Strengthen bilateral ties Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, June 12, 2019.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Prime Minister of this Caribbean nation, Dr. Honorable Keith Rowley, as part of the official visit that makes this country.

During the cordial exchange, both parties reiterated the will to continue strengthening the historic relations between the two countries, and ratified the interest of expanding political, cultural, economic-commercial and cooperation ties.

The moment was also propitious for the Cuban Foreign Minister to reaffirm Cuba's firm commitment to maintain cooperation and solidarity with the CARICOM countries, which has developed in many areas such as health, education, human resources training , sports, culture, construction, among others.

In the conversations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM of Trinidad and Tobago, Honorable Senator Dennis Moses, also participated.
