Successful meeting between Saint Paul University and the Embassy of Cuba to Canada.

The Press and Cultural Attaché of the Cuban Embassy to Canada, Aileen Carmenaty held a meeting with Brianna Coffey, International Recruitment Agent of the International Relations Office of Saint Paul University, at the Cuban Embassy in Ottawa. During the meeting, the parties exchanged on the different areas for future collaboration between the Canadian higher education center and Cuba.

The Saint Paul University representative expressed her interest in the politics, culture, religion and traditions of Cuba, as well as in the blockade imposed by the U.S. government on Cuba. In this regard, the Cuban official explained the hostile U.S. policy toward our people, its strengthening under Donald Trump's administration and during COVID-19, and its negative impact on the Cuban society.

The occasion was propitious to establish a beginning in the relations between Saint Paul University and Cuba in order to materialize future projects that contribute to the strengthening of academic exchange between the two countries.
