The Embassy of Cuba in Canada celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, with the participation of organizations in solidarity with Cuba and other friends of our people.
During the event, the importance of this date for our Revolution was highlighted, since these actions contributed to the maturity of the political awareness and served as inspiration for the revolutionary war.
The occasion was propitious for several members of friendly organizations to express words of gratitude and recall the importance of the date, while condemning the blockade imposed by the US against our people and the arbitrary inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries sponsors of terrorism.
Music was also a protagonist of the evening, in which Tito Medina and Gustavo Saavedra delighted the audience with songs allegorical to the date.
