The Cuban government mission in Seychelles celebrated on Sunday the 96th anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
In the tribute, the participants outlined the exceptional life trajectory of Fidel and his indelible traces that have been, and still are, an inspiration for our people and for millions of men and women of all continents.
Also highlighted were the principles of unity and solidarity that the Commander bequeathed us, so present in the current moments that Cuba is living, after the explosion that occurred recently in the city of Matanzas, an event that we are overcoming thanks to the unity and solidarity in support of Cuba, deployed inside and outside the island.
The activity took place on the northwest coast of Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles archipelago, where representatives of the medical brigade and the Cuban diplomatic mission arrived after the ascent of the elevation known as Anse Mayor, in homage to the Commander in Chief.
Another group of collaborators of the medical mission celebrated Fidel's birthday from their trenches, providing health services to the Seychellois population.
