Tribute to the National Rebellion Day in the framework of the Peruvian-Canadian Multicultural Festival.

The General Consul of Cuba in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos, participated in the literary space in the framework of the Peruvian-Canadian Multicultural Festival in Queen's Park in front of the Toronto City Hall, where a heartfelt tribute was paid to the National Rebellion Day.

The event featured books by writers Berta Alicia Ramirez-Galan, James Lafferty and Carlos Angulo Rivas, among others, with poems dedicated to the Cuban Revolution and to this date in particular. In addition, Latin American and Canadian authors interpreted their poems allegorical to the 26th of July deed, ratifying once again that Cuba is not alone.

The Cuban diplomat thanked the expressions of infinite affection towards our country and the well-deserved tribute to those who did not allow the Apostle's ideas to die in the year of his centenary.
