University in India dedicates cultural day to Cuba

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, attended the Cultural Day of the Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), which was dedicated to Cuba.

During the emotional day, the first year students of the Bachelor's in Spanish demonstrated their knowledge and skills with the Cuban language and culture, combining theater, film, music and dance. Professor Shalu Chopra also presented "Viva Latino 3", her third book on Spanish methodology, which mixes the teaching of this language with the culture of Latin America and the Caribbean.

In an exchange with teachers, students and relatives, the diplomat Alejandro Simancas thanked the gesture and the affection for our country; and highlighted the historical ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation that unite both peoples for more than 60 years.

The Ambassador was also received by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Neharika Vohra, with whom he exchanged on the possibilities of cooperation in education between Cuban and Indian institutions.
