U.S. dockworkers union calls for an end to sanctions against Cuba.

During the convention of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), which is currently in session at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, dock workers approved a resolution in favor of Cuba.

The proclamation requests the Biden administration to remove the Greater Antilles from the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism, as well as to vote in favor of the Cuban resolution that the Caribbean nation presents every year before the United Nations.

Other demands of the International Longshoremen's and Warehousemen's Union are to resume Obama's policy towards the island and to establish dialogue for the definitive normalization of relations between the two countries.

The resolution also states that it will be distributed to congressional delegations, media and other organizations, urging them to join this worldwide demand.

The initiative highlights the will of the American people to eliminate the sanctions against Cuban families.
