Visit the Embassy of Cuba in Ireland, Spokesperson for International Relations of the Sinn Féin Party.

Dublin, May 10, 2022: The spokesman for International Relations of the Sinn Féin Party, John Brady TD, visited the Cuban Embassy in Ireland in the morning, where he was received by the Cuban Ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández. The representative of Sinn Féin conveyed two messages of condolences for the death of comrade Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, former President of the National Assembly of People's Power and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as for the tragic consequences of the accident that occurred in Havana at the “Hotel Saratoga” and its surroundings.

The Cuban Ambassador thanked the representative of Sinn Féin for the messages and exchanged about the efforts of the Cuban authorities and people in general to respond to such an unfortunate tragedy, which occurred in the heart of the Cuban capital.

Likewise, he also highlighted the traditional policy against the economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the United States against Cuba, intensified in recent years, a position that was ratified by the Sinn Féin representative.
