Visit to St. Thomas University

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca visited the University of St. Thomas in Fredericton, New Brunswick, an institution with more than 100 years of experience, which welcomes morethan 1800 students. 

She held a cordial meeting with several professors of that center and with a professor of Cuban origin, member of the Languages Department, who actively participates in projects with the University of Holguin.

During the visit, she held a dialogue with Carrie Monteith-Levesque, international student coordinator, on the possibilities of increasing student exchange between this institution and Cuban universities, in order to enrich the experience in the academic disciplines they teach.
