The will of the Cuban government to continue making progress in the updating process of its economic model was reaffirmed in Denmark

In an event held on April 13 with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Danish Confederation of Industries, entrepreneurs, diplomats, as well as members of solidarity groups, the Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas reaffirmed the will of her country to continue making progress in the updating process of the Cuban economic model.

The diplomat said that 59 years after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, despite the harsh US blockade policy that has been tightened up with the current administration, the country continues to work with determination to achieve the goal of building a socialist, prosperous and sustainable society. She also referred to the role of direct foreign investment in the economic development of the Island, the projects included in the business portfolio as well as the advantages offered by the Special Mariel Development Zone to those people who are interested in investing in Cuba.
