The woman in the cinema

Abuja, March 8, 2024.- As part of the activities carried out by the diplomatic corps for International Women's Day, the Ambassador of Cuba Miriam Morales Palmero and the Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot participated in a movie night organized at the headquarters of the Mexican Embassy in Abuja.

During the evening, three small films from the Mexican film school were screened, which reflected the situation of insecurity, mistreatment and abuse to which a large part of women in Latin America are subjected.

Present at the meeting were members of the diplomatic corps, important representatives of Nigerian culture, and defenders of women's rights from various parts of the continent.
