Women and anti-imperialism

On the occasion of the International Women's Day, the Cuban Consulate in Montreal participated as guest in a panel discussion on feminist groups and their activism against war and in defense of anti-imperialist ideas. The event took place at Café Aquin of the University of Quebec in Montreal.

The opportunity was propitious to exchange life experiences, as well as to highlight the main achievements made in Cuba regarding gender issues. Likewise, the panel contributed to condemning the economic, commercial and financial blockade as the main obstacle to the full development of women in our country
