Caravans in the US demand the lifting of the blockade

On July 31, different organizations participated in car caravans and other actions demanding an end to the United States economic war against Cuba. The activities took place in a number of U.S. cities such as Miami, New York,Los Angeles, Oklahoma, Seattle, Baltimore and Milwaukee as well as other countries.

It was the 25th consecutive month in which these caravans are celebrated, a demonstration of the will and steadfast support of this organizations in the US in the struggle for the lifting of the blockade. 

Cuba expresses condolences after flooding in Kentucky

The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent heartfelt condolences after all the damages caused by flooding in Kentucky, which had a death toll of numerous persons, including children. The torrential rains also caused material damage in the affected areas.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, welcomed the 32nd Caravan of Pastors for Peace, which arrived in Cuba on Monday, in a new embrace of solidarity, despite the blockade imposed by the United States on the island for more than six decades.
