Cuba is not accountable to anyone

The empire owes us more than 3,000 dead compatriots, countless material damages, unparalleled suffering caused by terrorist acts of which people recruited and trained by the United States are guilty.

The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, in a meeting with the Chilean Foreign Minister, Antonia Urrejola, stated, in the height of petulance: "We have to make the Cuban government accountable".

U.S. blockade of Cuba affects orthopedic branch

The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba today hinders the entry of supplies and equipment that are indispensable for the development of different health branches in the country.

The specialty of Orthopedics is among the most affected, since the lack of instruments hinders the progress of arthroscopic surgery, which is already being applied in almost all Cuban provinces and which requires specific tools for its execution.

Havana in the race for October 10

In the Cuban capital, a race was held in honor of the beginning of the War of Independence in Cuba against Spanish colonialism, on the same date in 1868.

The race was organized by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder) and started at 9:00 a.m. in the Diez de Octubre municipality and its route included Santa Catalina, Juan Delgado, Acosta, Espadero and Mayía Rodríguez streets.

Cuban and U.S. companies agree on cargo transportation

The companies Aerovadero S.A. and Maravana Cargo, from Cuba and the United States will work on the transportation of non-commercial cargo, thus increasing the facilities between both countries.

By means of a contract, signed on the last day of the International Transport Fair, distances and delivery times to final customers of non-commercial merchandise originating in the northern nation and destined for the island will be shortened, particularly those sent by Cubans living there.
