Cuba and Grenada Health Coperation Agreement review.

 St George, March 25. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Grenada, Mrs. Rhonda Jonas, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Grenada Ivette Martínez Leyva in her office. In a cordial meeting, the diplomatic dialogue was held on some aspects to be reviewed in the current cooperation agreement, under which thirty health professionals work on the island.

St George, March 22. During a visit to the Grenada Ministerial Complex, Cuban Ambassador Ivette Martínez presented to the Minister of Agriculture and Lands, Honorable Senator Lennox Andrew, the different sectors in which both islands can establish cooperation.

The diplomat presented Cuba's positive results in terms of seed production and agricultural practices resilient to the island climate that we share, the experience in integrated pest management, assembly of organoponic plants and other services associated with animal management and production.

They remember in Cuba the 45th anniversary of the Granada Revolution

Havana, March 13 (Prensa Latina) The permanent validity of the legacy of the Granada Revolution and its leader Maurice Bishop was exalted here today, on its 45th anniversary, by Cuban and Caribbean researchers and diplomats.

Before almost a hundred attendees gathered at Havana's Casa del Alba, the speakers agreed to highlight the figure of Bishop, murdered in 1982, shortly before the United States military invasion of that Eastern Caribbean island.

Permanent Secretary of Infrastructure receives the Cuban Ambassador in Grenada

St George, March 5. At the Ministerial Complex of Grenada, the Ambassador of Cuba Ivette Martínez was received this morning by the Permanent Secretary of Infrastructure and Civil Aviation Mrs. Sylvia Bennet-Thomas. In a friendly meeting, the diplomat expressed thanks for the systematic compliance with the collaboration agreement signed between the Union of Caribbean Construction Companies (UNECA) and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Grenada, which provides for 8 Cuban engineers, with high prestige to guarantee the quality of their projects.

Grenadian Ambassador visited Maurice Bishop Special School in Havana

Havana,Frebruary, 22. The H E Glen Noel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to Cuba together with Yanet Silveira, Secretary with responsibility for Students Affairs, paid a visit to the Maurice Bishop School for Special Education in Havana. This institution is a transit school where children with delay in psychological development are prepared for general education. The purpose of the visit was to make a donation of toiletries and food supplies to the institution.
