The United States takes steps in the right direction, but the blockade remains in force.

Despite its limited scope, this is a decision that points to the right direction and is in line with the sustained and firm demand by the government and the people of Cuba, as well as the broad, emphatic and reiterated call by numerous governments, particularly those of Latin America and the Caribbean; Cubans residing abroad; political, religious and social organizations and numerous political figures of the United States and other countries. The government of Cuba expresses its gratitude to all of them for their contribution and sensitivity.

With the presence of the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, the advent of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated in Basseterre.

Joy, optimism and commitment to Cuba marked the celebration that took place this weekend at the Cuban Embassy in St Kitts and Nevis, where fellow nationals and local friends led by the Prime Minister of the Federation, Honorable Dr. Terrance Drew, celebrated the advent of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

A march for the honor and dignity of the country.

More than 500,000 Cubans from the capital, representing the entire country, marched this Friday along the Havana boardwalk in front of the US Embassy. The Cuban people took to the streets to raise their voices against the blockade imposed by the US government. The Havana seawall was once again filled with Cubans fighting for their rights and for a sovereign country with unwavering principles, despite the difficulties.

Cuban delegation participated in the 13th Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management

This Friday concluded in Saint Kitts the 13th Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM 13), in which a large delegation from Cuba participated, headed by First Colonel Luis Angel Macareño Véliz, second head of the National State of Civil Defence. Under the slogan "Road to Resilience - Control Point 2024: Levelling up for a dynamic future", this event took place for five days at the Marriott Hotel of this Federation.

Cuban health professionals commemorate the Day of Latin American Medicine in St. Kitts with the celebration of a scientific day.

What better way to commemorate the Day of Latin American Medicine than with a scientific exercise by our Health collaborators, who were joined on this occasion by local colleagues graduated in Cuba and Cubans residing in the Federation, all professionals in the sector.
