We dedicated this afternoon a special moment to honour Professor Earle Clarke, one of the most outstanding unconditional friend of Cuba. It was a very emotional posthumous tribute, in which his family received on his behalf the Friendship Medal awarded by the ICAP, one of the highest distinctions that Cuba grants to those people who have historically maintained such close ties with our country, for their constant work of solidarity in defense of our sovereignty and independence, and for strengthening the relations of friendship and fraternity between our peoples
Following the work program organised for the visit to this Federation of Tamara Armenteros Alcee, an ICAP official, this Thursday morning she was received in Nevis by the main authorities of that island, accompanied by Ambassador David Rivero Pérez. The Premier of this island, Honourable Mark Brantley, offered a warm welcome to the visitors, demonstrating once again his affection and admiration for the people of Cuba. His rejection of the blockade policy against the Caribbean nation was exposed during the exchange, an opportunity that also allowed visitors to express their gratitude for the historical support of this sister nation and the willingness of its government to continue strengthening existing links.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba expresses deep concern over the unfolding events in the Middle East, driven by the aggressive policies of the State of Israel, with military, logistical, and political support from the U.S. government. These actions have led to a dangerous escalation, further undermining regional stability and security, and provoking a response from Iran.
Within the framework of the activities for the working visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis of the senior official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Tamara Armenteros Alcee, the radio station Freedom FM dedicated a space on this Wednesday afternoon, to discuss the solidarity movement with Cuba that is rising in this Federation. It was an special occasion provided by Freedom FM so that the warm greetings from Cuba and gratitude for the historical accompaniment, reach each resident of St Kitts and Nevis, by the voice of Tamara Armenteros.
