With a massive political and cultural evening, led by the former Vincentian Ambassador to Cuba, Mr. Dexter Rose and organized by the Association of Vincentians graduated in Cuba, the Friendship Association of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/Cuba, the Association of Cubans Residents in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in collaboration with the Cuban Embassy, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, once again, expressed its solidarity with Cuba, at a time when the U.S. blockade against the largest of the Antilles is intensifying.

THE ASSOCIATION OF CUBANS, RESIDENTS IN SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, RESOLUTELY REJECTS THE BLOCKADE OF THE UNITED STATES AGAINST CUBA.

Within the framework of the activity of solidarity with Cuba, celebrated in homage to the Day of Cuban Culture, Arianna Taylor Israel, President of the Association of Cubans, Residents in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, read a combative Declaration rejecting the US blockade against Cuba and its intensification during the administration of the President Donald Trump.

SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES STANDS WITH CUBA TODAY AND FOR ALL TIMES

The Cuban Ambassador, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, was received in audience by Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at the Government headquarters.

During the cordial meeting, the parties discussed important aspects of bilateral relations and collaboration between the two nations.

THE NATIONAL VINCENTIAN NEWSPAPER POINTS OUT THAT A SURGEON, MEMBER OF THE CUBAN MEDICAL BRIGADE, SAVED THE LIFE OF A SERIOUSLY WOUNDED MAN.

The Vincentian national newspaper "Searchlight" inserted, on the first page of its weekly edition, an article on the surgical intervention performed by surgeon Dr. Orlirio Ferrer Robaina, member of the Cuban medical brigade, who saved the life of a seriously injured farmer.
