Austrian Former President Heinz Fischer has stated that he is in favor of improving relations between his country and Cuba, the Cuban embassy in Vienna reports today.
In a message circulated by the embassy, Fischer said that he supported an increase in cooperation in political and cultural sectors and also in trade, which he said had a lot of potential.
Speaking in Havana January 4, Manuel Marrero, Cuba’s Minister of Tourism, reported that the 37th International Tourism Fair (FitCuba 2017), will beheld from May 3-6 in the eastern province of Holguín, while Germany will feature as guest country of honor.

This Convention is the fusion of the 4th International Congress on Immunopharmacology (IMMUNOPHARMACOLOGY 2017) and the 4th International Congress on Pharmacology of Vaccines (VACCIPHARMA 2017).

Yukiya Amano, general director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will make an official visit to Cuba from November 20 to 22, as confirmed by the Cuban Foreign Affairs Ministry Thursday.
