Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Fernando Gonzalez Llort, arrives in Austria

Vienna, March 26. The Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Fernando González Llort, President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) arrived today in Austria.

Upon his arrival in Vienna, the Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power was received by the Cuban Ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, and by the President of the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association (ÖKG), Hermann Pernerstorfer.

U.S. Chargé d'Affaires summoned to the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs to protest against the U.S. government's interfering behavior

On March 18, 2024, U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Benjamin Ziff was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Deputy Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío, who formally conveyed to him the firm rejection of the interference and slanderous messages of the U.S. government and its embassy in Cuba regarding the internal affairs of the Cuban reality.

Cuba participates in the Vienna Tourism Fair

Vienna, March 17, 2024. Cuba maintained a stand at the Vienna Holiday Fair (Ferien Messe Wien), a key event in the tourism industry, which serves as an international platform for vacations, travel and leisure.

For three days, representatives of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism presented Cuba as a destination at this important event. The "Cuba Única" campaign served as a basis for Austrian citizens and visitors from other countries to become interested in the island and the possibilities of visiting it as a tourist.
