On the afternoon of 19 December, the Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Mr. Angel Gustavo Suárez Cordero participated in the programme "Las Noticias De Otra Manera" of Radio Astra, hosted by the journalist Neophytos Neophyto.
The Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero offered on behalf of the Cuban people and government, the President of his country and on his own behalf condolences on the passing of his Excellency Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, who left a lasting legacy in Kuwait and in the international community, and above all was a great friend of Cuba.
On the afternoon of December 17, several Cuban artists residing in Cyprus gave a presentation at the Christmas Festival of the Municipality of Strovolos.
The dancer Yonly Leyva opened the presentation of the Cuban artists, with a contemporary choreography. Then Pedro "Son Caliente" and Salvador and Marjorie joined on stage to make everyone in attendance dance son, guaracha and even conga.
The Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba published this December 7, Resolution 19/2023 of the Ministry of the Interior, referring to the National List of people and entities that have been subjected to criminal investigations and are wanted by the Cuban authorities, as of of their involvement in the promotion, planning, organization, financing, support or commission of acts carried out in the national territory or in other countries. The regulatory provision includes perpetrators of terrorist acts against Cuba from 1999 to the present.
