Information note from the Cuban Embassy in Cyprus

The Cuban Embassy in Cyprus will be temporarily closed on 29 June 2024, due to staff holidays.

During the period in which the Embassy will be closed, the Cuban Consular Section in Rome, located in Via Licinia 7, CP 00153, Rome, will exceptionally attend to requests for consular services considered urgent. To make contact, please send an e-mail to: consulado3@ecuitalia.it.

The Cuban Embassy in Cyprus will resume its services on 14 August 2024.

Second edition of the Ibero-American Film Festival in Cyprus closes with the screening of the Cuban film "Habanastation".

Yesterday, 4th June 2024, the closing of the second edition of the Iberoamerican Film Festival in Cyprus was celebrated with the collaboration between the Iberoamerican Embassies (Brazil, Cuba, Portugal, Peru and Spain), the Cervantes and Camoes Institutes and the Association of Friends of Cinema, this year inaugurated by the Embassy of Brazil.

In the auditorium of the Cine Studio of the University of Nicosia, Cuba closed the second edition of the Festival with the film "Habanastation" (2011).

Cuban Ambassador meets with President of ACTA.

The Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suárez Cordero held a fruitful meeting with the President of the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ACTTA), Mr. Charis Papacharalambous at the premises of the Embassy.

Η Κούβα είναι μία ~ Δήλωση του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών

Στις 28 Μαΐου, η κυβέρνηση των ΗΠΑ ανακοίνωσε τελικά μια σειρά μέτρων για να θέσει σε εφαρμογή τις ανακοινώσεις της 16ης Μαΐου 2022. Ο στόχος αυτού του βήματος, σύμφωνα με το κείμενο που δημοσίευσε το Γραφείο Ελέγχου Ξένων Περιουσιακών Στοιχείων (OFAC), είναι να ευνοηθεί ο ιδιωτικός τομέας στην Κούβα.
