Vice-President of the Cuban Parliament receives deputy and Secretary General of AKEL

The Vice-President of the Cuban National Assembly, Ana Mari Machado received the Cypriot Deputy and Secretary General of the Progressive Party of the Working People (AKEL), Stefanous Stefanou, at the Cuban Capitol. 

During the relaxed meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen bilateral relations. 

With this meeting, the Secretary General of AKEL begins a working visit to Cuba until May 8, accompanied by Vera Policarpou, Head of IR of AKEL.

With the aim of encouraging tourism, facilitating the flow of travellers and continuing to promote friendly relations and cooperation with the People's Republic of China, it has been decided to exempt Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports who wish to enter, transit, leave or remain in the territory of the Republic of Cuba from the visa requirement.

Chinese citizens who wish to stay in the territory of the Republic of Cuba for a period of more than ninety (90) days from the date of entry must apply for the corresponding visa.

Επίσκεψη ΓΓ ΚΕ ΑΚΕΛ στην Κούβα

Ο ΓΓ της ΚΕ ΑΚΕΛ, Στέφανος Στεφάνου, επικεφαλής αντιπροσωπείας του Κόμματος αναχώρησε σήμερα για την Αβάνα της Κούβας. Η επίσκεψη πραγματοποιείται μετά από πρόσκληση του Κομμουνιστικού Κόμματος Κούβας.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της επίσκεψης ο Στέφανος Στεφάνου θα έχει συναντήσεις με την ηγεσία του ΚΚ Κούβας και της Εθνικής Συνέλευσης της Λαϊκής Εξουσίας. Θα έχει επίσης επαφές στο Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών, στο Κουβανικό Ινστιτούτο Φιλίας με τους Λαούς και με άλλους οργανισμούς της χώρας. Θα επισκεφθεί επίσης χώρους συνδεδεμένους με την ιστορία της Κούβας.

Delegation of the Cyprus Peace Council participates in May Day celebrations in Cuba.

The President of the Cyprus Peace Council, Tassos Costea, together with other members of the group participated in the celebrations for May 1st in Cuba in the massive act that took place in the anti-imperialist tribune "José Martí" in Havana, headed by the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution General of the Army, Raul Castro and the President and Secretary General of the Communist Party of Cuba, Miguel Diaz Canel.
